This waterproof fabric is comprised of coated high-tenacity polyester triple ripstop bonded to PET film with 45 degree Ultra CrossPly (UHMWPE) fibers inside for increased tear resistance. We've found that although it contains significantly less UHMWPE fiber than DCF or Dyneema Hybrid, the beefier poly face and biased Ultra fibers provide about the same abrasion and tear resistance as you'd expect from DCF.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNote: The material costs are ~$4 less to make this pack from TX95 as compared to Dyneema Hybrid so we have decreased the price by that much.
